FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is an initiation fee?
The initiation fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee that is required to begin any membership at Brevard Health & Racquet Club. This fee covers administration and setup of your new membership and can not be waived.
What is a reinstatement fee?
The reinstatement fee is assessed when a member cancels, then re-joins within a year. The reinstatement fee is equal to 1/2 the cost of the initiation fee.
Are BHRC memberships contractual?
No. You are free to cancel your membership at any time and for any reason. However, membership initiation fees are non-refundable regardless of the length of tenure.
Do you offer membership "freezes"?
Yes, we do offer membership freezes, but only under certain circumstances. Membership freezes are not granted when club use is neglected by the member in question. All eligible freezes are granted for one calendar month and must begin on the 1st of the month. No mid-month freezes will be granted. If you would like to request a membership freeze, please make the request as early in advance as possible so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
How does a family membership work?
A family membership consists of a couple and their unmarried children who are under the age of 22 and are either living in the same household or are attending school on a full-time basis.
Does BHRC allow guests?
Absolutely! We love having guests at our club and welcome members to bring guests any time. There are applicable guest fees charged per day depending on usage and length of time, but guests are always welcome to all of BHRC’s facilities and amenities.
Does BHRC offer Corporate Memberships?
Yes! We offer two levels of corporate sponsorship. Both are great ways to promote your business, and both make your employees eligible for fantastic rates and waived initiation fees.
