Josh manages the day-to-day operations of BHRC and is available for private tennis lessons. Josh was an All-State High School tennis player and also played for UNCA in college. He was ranked in the top 5 for men’s 35’s in NC in 2015 and is a certified Professional in PTR Teaching , PTR Adult Development and PTR Junior Development.
Dave Hartsock grew up in Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University with a Special Education Degree. He moved to Brevard in 2011 and currently lives in Brevard with his beautiful wife Sara and 3 dogs Buckeye, Bentley and Jethro.
He began his career in Brevard as a full time Director at Camp Illahee and then took over as Tennis Director. After 16 summers at Camp, he came to Brevard Health & Racquet Club and in 2019 became our Full-Time Tennis and Pickleball Director and General Manager to assist Josh with the day to day operations of the club.
Dave specifically enjoys creating relationships with our members and working with our tight knit staff. You won't catch him without a smile and an eagerness to make sure our members are cared for.
A common quote you may hear from Dave would be; "Tennis is not about being the best, that's simply not possible. But about being a little better today than you were yesterday".

Cassie was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She currently live in Brevard, North Carolina with her sweet little brown dog. Cassie went to school in Colby, Kansas where she played volleyball and received her Associate's Degree. She then moved to Brevard, North Carolina to play volleyball for Brevard College and graduated in 2012 with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education. She also graduated with a Masters in Teaching for Physical Education from Lenoir Rhyne University in 2016. Currently, Cassie works part-time at the Brevard Health and Racquet Club working as the Aquatics Director. There she teaches and coaches swimming while managing the pool facilities and pool staff. We have been blessed to have at Brevard Health and Racquet Club since the summer of 2012.
Jodi has a passion for helping people with their health. She has been a Certified Personal Trainer for over 20 years and a Certified Health Coach She has a desire to help each person improve the quality of their life not just by exercising properly and more effectively but by enjoying life to the full mind, body and spirit through “mindful” exercise, eating and thinking.

Hannah has worked at Brevard Health and Racquet Club since March of 2020 and has many hats at the gym. After working a while at the front desk, she took over the morning "WOD" class at 6AM Mondays and Fridays which has been going strong for over a year now! She began taking on some 1:1 clients shortly after that and has enjoyed being able to teach all ages how to live a healthy lifestyle and increase overall strength. She studied Exercise Science at Brevard College and is Group Fitness and Personal Training Certified through ISSA while also currently pursuing a higher certification with NASM.
If you don't see her working out at the gym, you'll find her at any coffee shop in town or playing soccer on a field! Hannah lives with her husband and two adorable kitties in the heart of Brevard.

Noteca has been working at BHRC for over 4 years. She started working at the club by teaching the Les Mills GRIT class and moved into a full time role on our front desk team. She has an Associates Degree in Applied Science and worked at Accordius Health as a certified medication aide and CNA for 15 years. She recently received her ACE certified Personal Training Certification, is pursuing a Fitness Nutritionist Specialist Certification and has been working as a personal trainer here at BHRC.
Not to mention she has three black belts, teaches Karate on the side, is married with two daughters, and is in three book clubs! This gal can do it all.

Trent grew up in Iowa and moved to the Brevard area in 2019. He played baseball at Bellevue University in Nebraska and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance. While growing up in the city of Bettendorf, he was a 4 sport high school athlete earning many honors including All American in baseball. Trent also coached baseball at Bettendorf High school for 3 years before deciding to move away for other opportunities playing baseball. He continued his career training and playing for several different teams as a pitcher and outfielder up until he decided to move to Brevard. During his time playing in college he had a SLAP tear on his throwing shoulder and went through physical therapy several times learning about rehabilitation and prevention. Before completing his degree he took an internship with a physical therapy center and considered continuing his education by getting another degree to become a physical therapist before ultimately deciding to play baseball instead.
Since working at the Brevard Health and Racquet Club in 2021, Trent has enjoyed meeting a multitude of friendly members as well as an awesome and welcoming staff. He currently works on our Desk Staff and assists with maintenance around the club.
